Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center provides a secured, warm home with activities that are specifically designed
for dementia residents: exercise, meals, spiritual services, and activities involving day to day tasks.
Our professional staff and certified nursing assistants are specifically chosen for the WestView Unit to promote
continuity of care. They have extensive training in attending to the special needs of Alzheimer and/or dementia residents.
Admission to the WestView Unit is based on specific criteria. Eligibility is determined by a nurse and social worker.
Residents who reside on the WestView Unit are evaluated on an on-going basis. Discharge from the WestView Unit is considered when the unit no
longer meets the individual needs of the resident.
Any family member with a resident who has Alzheimer's and/or dementia is welcome at our monthly support group
offered the 3rd Tuesday. For further information, contact the Director of Social Services or the WestView Nursing Unit Director.
