SOCIAL SERVICES

Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center's social services department is here to offer the resident and their families support and assistance with the many changes and needs that occur at the time of admission and during their stay in the nursing facility. We serve as advocates for the residents and their families, addressing social and emotional needs.

We maintain contact with families to promote good communication by assisting with advance directives, care conferences and discharge planning. We want each resident to attain and maintain their highest level of physical, social and psychological functioning. Our department consists of full-time licensed social workers, a social services designee, and a social services coordinator.
