PASTORAL CARE
Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center ministers to the spiritual needs of our residents with respect, sincerity
and compassion.
The chaplain responds to referrals from family members and staff to visit residents for spiritual needs, prayers, and private communion.
The chaplain also visits residents in the hospital. Upon request, the chaplain contacts the resident's clergy or a clergy member of the
resident's faith for pastoral care.
We welcome clergy and visitors from area congregations to visit, and provide communion and other spiritual
activities for the residents who belong to their fellowship. The religious beliefs and choices of residents must be respected by staff,
volunteers and visitors. We do not allow religious volunteers or other visitors to proselytize among our residents.
