SKILLED NURSING CARE
Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center has excellent nursing care provided by a high quality team
consisting of a Director of Resident Services, three Unit Directors, three MDS Directors, a Staff Development Director, and an
Evening Director. We have over 50 RN and LPN charge nurses, 15 plus Certified Medication Aides, and approximately 175 Certified
Nursing Assistants. Primary nurses and CNAs are assigned to each unit for continuity of care.
We have ample state of the art equipment and quality nursing staff that provides comprehensive care to all
residents. Nursing interventions are provided for complex and medically unstable conditions. Residents are provided loving care to meet their
personal needs and are encouraged to maintain their independence. Some of our services include: IV therapy, hospice, feeding tubes, dialysis
coordination, and preventative care.
Each of our six nursing units has a fully stocked nourishment center, which is easily accessible by caregivers
and residents 24 hours a day.
To maintain our high quality of staff, background checks are completed prior to employment. Missouri Slope
Lutheran Care Center offers a variety of continuing education programs and encourages further training in geriatric nursing.
Transportation is provided to all residents for medical, vision, and dental visits. Our transportation
staff has completed a certification course in driver safety. A certified nursing assistant will accompany residents to their appointment when
a family member is unavailable.
