Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center was created in 1962 with the foresight of local Lutheran church congregations and the organization of Lutheran laypersons and pastors. With the groundbreaking in 1965 a tradition of compassion, understanding, respect and caring was born.

Over 40 years later we continue to provide care for 250 skilled nursing care residents, of which 82 reside in private rooms. In 2003 we transitioned our independent living apartment building into assisted living apartments and currently have 64 one and two bedroom apartments in our Valley View Heights Assisted Living addition.

Today, Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center transcends the stereotype of nursing homes of old. Within its beautifully designed and decorated interiors, sunny courtyards, lovely views of the Missouri River Valley and outstanding care provided by its professionals you will find peace of mind.
